Perancangan Sistem Pengaturan Lampu Lalu Lintas Adaptif Berbasis Data Simulasi PTV VISSIM Pada Koridor Pelabuhan Banyuwangi

This study aims to analyze traffic performance along the Gatot Subroto Road corridor and design a simulation-based adaptive traffic light control system using PTV VISSIM software. This data was then modeled in PTV VISSIM to evaluate traffic performance parameters, including average queue length, maximum queue length, vehicle delay, stop delay, and the number of vehicles stop. Simulation results indicate that the South-to-North approach on Gatot Subroto Road—leading toward Ketapang Port—experiences the highest density compared to other approaches. The average queue length reached 11.30 meters, with a maximum queue length of 210.41 meters. Additionally, the average vehicle delay was 38.01 seconds, and the stop delay was 6.25 seconds. These conditions highlight that the traffic flow toward the port area constitutes a critical point requiring more effective traffic management. Consequently, the implementation of an adaptive traffic light control system is expected to optimize signal timing based on real-time traffic conditions, thereby reducing vehicle queues and delays while improving overall traffic performance along this strategic corridor leading to Ketapang Port, Banyuwangi.
